Trusts
Revocable - permits the Trustor, the one who creates the trust, to revoke or change terms of the trust without consent of other parties
Irrevocable - trust assets belong to the trust and terms cannot be changed

Power of Attorney
Document wherein a person designates another to handle one's financial affairs

Advanced Healthcare Directive
Document wherein a person designates an agent to handle healthcare decisions in case of incapacity

Trust Administration
Process wherein a successor trustee administers the trust according to its terms, including distribution of trust properties to beneficiaries and payment of taxes, fees, and costs

Probate
Process wherein a court administers a decedent's estate by paying off decedent's debts and distributing remaining assets to heirs whether a will exists or not

Estate Planning Document Review
Services include a comprehensive review of client's existing estate planning portfolio and provide advice on changing or adding terms (if necessary) based to new legislation, acquisition of new property, death of beneficiaries, divorce, birth of new children/heirs, and other changed circumstances

Legal process wherein a court appoints and supervises an adult to administer the financial affairs of another who can no longer make decisions about finances or healthcare

Guardianships
Legal process wherein a court determines which adult will have legal custody over a minor child
