Blue Sky Ecological Reserve
Blue Sky Ecological Reserve is a 700 acre canyon staffed by fully-trained docents who offer hands-on experiences in identifying and observing plants and animals and in resource preservation activities. Community Park
Located in the heart of Poway, Community Park is one of Poway?s most active parks. You can ride the bowl at the Skate Park, hit a home run in the ball fields,swing at Adventure Playground, shout ?Bingo? at the Senior Center, run with your dog at Dog Park, tune up your tennis, or have a wonderful family picnic.

Goodan Ranch
Sycamore Canyon Preserve and Goodan Ranch offer over 10 miles of outdoor recreation trails and service roads. It is an excellent place to hike, mountain bike,ride horses, view live animals, and learn about Goodan Ranch history, the Cedar Fire and the Kymeyaay.

Kumeyaay Ipai Interpretive Center
The Kumeyaay Ipai Interpretive Center of Pauwai is a 5-acre site rich in Kumeyaay-Ipai local history. It is a significant American Indian cultural site that offers docent-led Trail tours visiting past ramadas, interpretive signage, native gardens, irrigation systems and a Kumeyaay house. The site also includes an Education Center with exhibits and educational materials.

Old Poway Park

Poway Rodeo
The Poway Rodeo is the real deal! PRCA-sanctioned, the rodeo continues the traditions of the old West and Cowboy heritage by featuring bareback bronc riding, barrel racing, tie down roping, steer wrestling, team roping, bull riding, and, of course, mutton bustin? for the younger set. There is also a Queen?s Pageant, dancing, singing , great food and, of course, great people watching!
